I feel honoured to be sharing this song with the world, that was born out of so much feeling, and an immense amount of love and care which has gone into it’s creation.The energy of this song is deeply inspired by the peoples of the Amazon, particularly the Huni Kuin people. I receive so much from your power, driving drums, connection to the spirit of life, and deep resonance of joy. This is a tribute to you, to the force that animates all life, the force of the elements, and the force that resides within every one of us.

It is a prayer that we may collectively remember this current, and I hope that singing and dancing to it may bring you empowerment and a reminder of the joy of being alive! It is also an ode to the power of the feminine, to the woman’s warrior spirit, resilience, tenacity and fierceness. I have had such potent experiences sharing this song, from the first time round the fire surrounded by women, to sharing at festivals and on stages, with the immense pleasure of watching many people in front of me dancing and singing ecstatically together. There is nothing quite like this feeling. It was a new and strange experience to fit such a live and wild song spirit into a ‘finalised’ form, which required releasing perfectionism, trusting the creative process, and enjoying immersing in the detail. I feel proud of what has come from it.I wish for the song to grow wings and reach as many hearts as possible, to bring the listener back to presence, back to the body, back to the simplicity of devotion and feeling. I am so grateful to Patch, Nathan, Aidan, the Domnu family, and everyone who has touched it with their magic.
